Expedia Cruises Solidifies Position Amongst Best Franchisors with Recent Franchisee Satisfaction Survey Results

Expedia Cruises recognized as a best-in-class franchise for 2024 based on franchisee satisfaction

Each year we utilize Franchise Business Review to conduct a third-party survey of our franchisees to gauge their satisfaction with our system, our leadership team, the franchise opportunity, and the Expedia Cruises organization as a whole. As the only North American franchisee survey we conduct, responses from our franchisees are incredibly valuable in identifying areas for improvement across our organization. We know that sharing their business experiences will help our Corporate Support Team better understand the strengths and opportunities of our system, be more responsive to their needs, improve our support, and better represent our franchise offering to Franchisee candidates in the future.

Anonymity is of utmost importance, as we want all franchisees to feel comfortable to share their honest opinion. Unless the franchisee chooses to share their contact information at the end of the survey, results are kept anonymous. At no point does Franchise Business Review share franchisee contact information or reveal who has or hasn’t taken the survey at any given time.

Expedia Cruises’ 2024 FBR Survey Results

Expedia Cruises’ survey was conducted in June 2024 and had 86% participation from franchisees (147 out of 171 invited franchisees took part in the survey). We are thrilled to announce that we had an overall score of 81 out of 100 in this year’s survey, solidly positioning us among the best franchisors in the industry.

Here are some positive stats that came out of the survey:

While there is a lot to be happy about, we are also committed to acknowledging areas of opportunity. Each year the leadership team combs through the entire report of over 200+ pages, including the individual survey section and text comments. Last year, one of our lowest scoring areas was “Involves Franchisees”. In response to this, the Leadership Team took immediate action and implemented changes around territory calls and Advisory Councils. The changes made resulted in an improvement of 7 points, where “Involves Franchisees” went from a score of 57 (2023 survey) to 64 (2024 survey). We hope to do the same this year in areas where we hope to improve our score.
