Meet the Leadership Team

Matthew Eichhorst

President

Prior to joining Expedia Cruises, Matthew spent 20 years as an entrepreneur. After selling his consulting company to General Electric (GE), he assisted a struggling public company with their financial turnaround until CruiseShipCenters recruited Matthew to assist with its managerial leadership in 2002. Matthew assumed the position of Chief Operating Officer in 2005 until he stepped into his current role as President in 2009. Matthew’s efforts focus around the corporate growth and long term sustainability of our Franchise Partners. In addition to leading the Expedia Cruises team, he also heads up the Global Cruise team for all Expedia Group brands that sell cruise, looking for synergies and learnings across brands that can help our franchisees grow their sales and ultimately become more profitable.

Mike Barron

Sr. Director, Franchise Operations

Mike has over 20 years of experience working with franchisees and has extensive experience across operations, sales and procurement. He came to Expedia Cruises from PepsiCo where he led a large team focused on business development with Global Franchise Accounts such as Subway, McDonalds and Yum Brands. In leading the Franchise Operations’ team, Mike continuously works with his team to improve the support for Franchise Partners in developing successful and long-term businesses.

John Mast

Sr. Director, Global Cruise Marketing

With over 15 years at Expedia Cruises, John oversees Brand, Consumer Marketing, Franchise Development Marketing and Public Relations for all of North America. As a high impact leader who articulates a clear vision, John leads, motivates and develops the large Expedia Cruises marketing team to achieve industry leading results. John is also passionate about giving back to his community and proudly serves as a Vice Chair of the Board from Canada Scores Vancouver, a not-for-profit after school program for vulnerable youth.

Ealeen Wong

Sr. Director, Strategy, Partnerships, and Sales

Ealeen has led strategy for some of the world’s most iconic brands and delivered breakthrough business results across global markets. She positively challenges the status quo and is known for inspiring multi-functional teams to work together toward a higher goal. High standards, a bias to action and a sense of curiosity have enabled her to raise the bar for consumer-packaged goods and retail organizations. She brings extensive experience in strategic planning, brand building and operations. Ealeen leads our Global Cruise team in accelerating business transformation through a clearly defined strategy and championing a purpose inspired culture across our employees, franchisees and agents.

Rakesh Bhulabhai, CPA, CGA

Director, Finance

Rakesh joined Expedia Cruises in 2011 after previously working for Canucks Sports and Entertainment – the company that owns and operates our NHL team the Vancouver Canucks! Although Rakesh has held various progressive roles with Expedia Cruises, today he is responsible for the overall financial health and operation of the company.  His areas of expertise include Accounting Operations, Commercial Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) as well as touches on areas of tax, audit, and compliance.  Rakesh strives to ensure for smooth transactional processing as it relates to our franchise network and aims to help grow both our business and yours!

Dave Mossop

Sr. Manager, Business Technology Programs

Dave has been with Expedia Cruises for nearly 20 years, starting in the Marketing department and now heading up Business Technology Programs. In his current role, Dave spearheads the company’s technology initiatives for franchisees and consultants, diligently working towards building the next-generation suite of tools. His primary focus is to empower consultants by enhancing their efficiency while equipping franchisees with robust technology to effectively manage their businesses. Previously, as a Senior Manager in Marketing, Dave successfully led projects centered around lead generation, omnichannel sales calls, email marketing, and the development of an e-commerce website platform. Dave’s extensive experience and unwavering commitment contribute significantly to the growth and success of Expedia Cruises.
